Q: Is the Grand Canyon Ranch & Outfitters an active working Cattle ranch? What Should I Expect

A: Yes. You will be experiencing the same trails our family has been using for the past 150 years for moving horses and cattle to different pastures. You will be helping the cowboys and wranglers gather and move cows to summer or winter pastures. Saddle time per day will vary between 3 - 6 hours per day. Weather can vary so please be prepared for anything (see gear list below). We want to give the best experience possible and strive to give you an unforgettable trip! We want you to experience the west through the eyes of a wrangler and see the ways of a working cattle ranch. The canyons you will be going down are some of the most remote and beautiful in the west…bring a camera!
